  • Patriotic House (WLAVA) – This building houses pre-surgery veterans before their movement to the WLA Hospital – $75,000 Donated for reflooring

    Clothes Closet - $4000 Donated

    Building 99 Hospitalized Vets – Lead weekly BINGO, providing refreshments and monthly birthdays celebrations – $3,200 Donated

  • 4 graduating seniors at each of the 6 high schools in our NJROTC program (Ventura, Hueneme, El Camino Real Charter, Reseda, Royal High School and Monroe) will each be granted $2,500.00 scholarships, Jewish War Veterans of USA Patriotic Medals and Certificates.

    Each High School will receive a $10,000 grant to enrich their NJROTC program.

  • Supply new flags and wreaths that are placed at each veteran’s gravesite.

    $5,000 Donated

  • The California Wildfires resulted in numerous veterans becoming unhoused. Many stayed at the WLA and Long Beach Tibor Rubin VA locations but without essentials such as clothing, blankets, etc.

    Post 603 donated $5,000.00 to both VA locations to assist in acquiring and distributing needed essentials. In addition, coordinated delivery of needed items to Fire Stations in the city of Los Angeles and Ventura County.

  • Jewish War Veterans of USA initiated an emergency fund for Magen David Adom, Israel’s national emergency medical service.
